  • Do not respond to pornographic images or rude postings left on this board. It will only encourage the poster to continue. Report it to the link shown above and it will be removed as soon as the report is read. Sending multiple reports will not speed up the process.
  • No Frames and Framesets. Framesets can not be inside of the body tag. If you try them here they will not work.
  • No JAVA or JAVA scripts
  • No Applets or ActiveX controls
  • No style sheets
  • You do not need tags such as <html> or <body> or </html> and </body> to practice your HTML here

    They will look closed on this board even if you do not close them but you need to make sure they are closed if you use them on other web pages or you will mess up the page big time!!
  • It's very bad manners to link to another person, place or companies files. Many places allow you to download files to use or display on the internet only if you save them to your hard drive them upload them to your server. Some places will allow you to link to their files but make sure that is the case before you do. Any files linked to this board that are obviously copyrighted materials will be removed at our sole discretion.

The first rule of learning HTML is to have fun with it. Learn the basics before taking on greater challanges. Start with text and fonts then move onto tables. If you master tables you're on your way. HTML is not hard. It is not at all like programming. It lends itself to creativity and ingenuity.

Soon you will be creating your own HTML documents and web pages. HTML is a great way to write reports, and for school assingments. You can write letters to freinds and family in HTML, save it on a floppy disk and send it to them. They can read the letter in their internet browser just like they were viewing a web page. You can include links, songs, sounds and images too !!
